We put our patients first every step of the way. We are proud to offer our own in-house lab, cutting out the middleman and ensuring that only the highest quality materials are used. Not only does this allow for increased precision, but it also cuts chair time in half and speeds up turnaround.

After finishing with orthodontic treatment, a vital part of maintaining your beautiful smile is wearing retainers. We will affix a permanent, hand-crafted retainer to your front lower teeth. In addition, our lab technician will create a set of removable, clear plastic retainers that you or your child will wear nightly. In the case that your retainers turn up missing, we offer complimentary overnight service for replacement.

When it comes to protecting your smile, every day is crucial. In the case that you or your loved one has forgotten to wear retainers, we also offer incredibly effective corrective retainers.

3D Imaging and Digital Models

Gone are the days of patients having to endure the process of creating a physical mold of their teeth. With today’s technology, we don’t need to use messy putty or require patients to hold their mouths open forever just to get impressions. 3D imaging, such as with the iTero device, allows us to precisely map out your teeth easily and comfortably. By taking six thousand images per second, the entire scanning process usually takes less than three minutes. This drastically improves accuracy and lets us show you what your future smile will look like before even starting treatment!

Digital Bracket Placement 

Digital bracket placement, also known as indirect bonding, means that you won’t have to deal with the lengthy, exhausting process of having each bracket affixed individually to each tooth. Using the latest computer software, we will determine exactly where each bracket will be positioned on each tooth. This ensures ultimate precision and will save you anywhere between three to four visits to our office. With our technology, you’ll even get to see your end result before even starting treatment.

Temporary Anchor Devices/Pins

At Frigo Orthodontics, we are dedicated to providing all of our patients with the most efficient, comfortable treatment plan available. Many other practices insist on performing jaw surgery before starting orthodontic procedures. We believe that there is a better way. By using temporary anchor devices (or TADs), we can avoid the pain, recovery time, and cost of surgery. In addition, they eliminate the need for bulky apparatus like the headgear of the past.

Essentially, TADs are small pins that are strategically placed through the gums into the jaw bone. They serve as a fixed anchor, which your orthodontist will use to exert pressure in order to shift your teeth gently. They can even be used to move teeth on the same arch in opposite directions, greatly assisting in the success of complex cases.
