This patient came into my office asking if there was another way to correct her underbite without having to get her jaw broken as her previous orthodontist told her she would need to do in order to correct her underbite.

Using the Damon braces system in conjunction with skeletal anchors behind the lower molars, we were able to retract all the lower teeth into a better position so that her front teeth would overlap normally. Surprisingly, her treatment took less than two years and has held up beautifully.

She was beyond excited about her new smile, and not having to pay over fifteen thousand dollars in surgery fees to have her jaw broken made it all the better!
